KKtech Games

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This policy covers the Ktech Games website, every game and app we publish, including Flunki, and KTech Online, the service our online games use for accounts and multiplayer. "We" means KTech Games.

In short

  • Flunki has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. It sends us nothing.
  • Our online games need an account. We keep what the account needs to work: a name, an email address if you give us one, and your play history.
  • We show no advertising, and we put no advertising or analytics software from other companies in our games or on this website.
  • We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
  • You can delete your account at any time.

Flunki

Flunki is a music toy for anyone, of any age. It is built so that there is nothing for us to collect.

  • There is no account and no sign-in, and nothing in the game can be typed, posted or shared.
  • There are no ads, and no analytics or tracking software.
  • The game sends nothing to us. It doesn't collect a name, an email address, contacts, location, photos, sound from the microphone, or a device or advertising ID.
  • What the game saves stays on the device: your settings, and whether song codes are unlocked. Uninstalling the game removes it.
  • The game works offline.

The one purchase. On Google Play, Flunki has one optional purchase, song codes. It is in the settings, behind a grown-up check, and the price is shown only there. Google Play handles the purchase and the payment; we never see a card number or any other payment detail. To know whether song codes are unlocked, the game asks Google Play, on the device, whether the device's Google account has bought them. That answer isn't sent to us. This is the only thing Flunki uses the internet for. What Google does with purchase information is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Our online games

This part applies to our games that have sign-in or multiplayer. They use KTech Online, which we run ourselves.

What we collect

  • Your account. A username. An email address, if you register with one or add one later. A password, which we store only in a scrambled form that we can't read.
  • Guest play. If you play without registering, the game makes up a random ID and keeps it on your device, and we store it so the game can sign you in again. It is not your device's hardware ID or advertising ID.
  • Signing in with Steam, Google Play Games or itch.io. The store tells us your account ID there and your display name, and Steam tells us whether the account is banned there. We never receive your password for that store.
  • How you play. The matches you play and their results, your statistics, ratings, playtime and leaderboard positions.
  • Friends and safety. Your friends list and friend requests, the players you block, and the reports you file about other players.
  • Chat. The messages you send in game channels, in lobbies and privately to other players. Stored messages are deleted after 7 days.
  • Lobbies and servers you host, with the names you give them.
  • Purchases. When you buy something in an online game through Google Play, we check the purchase with Google and record the product, the order number and whether it was refunded. We never see a card number or any other payment detail.
  • Technical information. Your IP address, your platform (for example Android or Windows), the game's version and when you signed in. We also keep a count, per day, of which of our games you opened. We use it to know how many people play each game.

The only emails we send are about your account: to confirm your address, to reset your password and to confirm changes such as deletion. We send no marketing email.

What other players can see

Other players can see your username, whether you are online and which game you are in, your statistics, ratings, leaderboard positions and match history, the messages you send them, and the lobbies and servers you host. Where a game offers it, you can hide your activity or appear offline. Other players never see your email address.

When you join a game hosted by another player, or host one yourself, the devices connect to each other directly. The players in that game can therefore learn each other's IP addresses.

This website

  • You can browse without an account. The site has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
  • Signing in uses your KTech Online account. We set two cookies that keep you signed in for up to 30 days, and we store your account ID, your username and whether your email address is confirmed. Signing out removes the cookies.
  • Reviews and comments are public and show your username. A review of an online game also shows how long you had played it when you wrote the review. You can delete your own reviews and comments.
  • Games you play in your browser may save your progress in your browser's storage. It stays in your browser.
  • Downloads are counted. We don't record who downloaded what.
  • Trailers on a game's page may be played from YouTube or Vimeo. When a page shows one, that company receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
  • Like most websites, our server may keep a log of requests (IP address, page and time) to keep the site running and to stop abuse.

What we use it for

  • To run your account, multiplayer, friends, chat and leaderboards.
  • To deliver what you bought, and to take it back after a refund.
  • To keep the games fair and safe: limiting abuse, handling reports, and banning accounts that break the rules. A ban can be tied to an account, an IP address or a guest device ID.
  • To count how many people play each game.
  • To send the account emails described above.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build advertising profiles. Where the law asks for a legal basis: we process account and play data to provide the service you asked for, safety and player counts because we have a legitimate interest in a service that works and is safe, and purchase records because the law requires them.

Who we share it with

  • Other players, as described above.
  • The store you sign in or buy through (Valve for Steam, Google, itch.io). We send it the sign-in or purchase proof your game received from it, so it can confirm the proof is real.
  • Companies that work for us: the ones that host our servers, protect them from attacks and deliver our email. They may use the information only to provide that service.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect players or our services.

We don't sell personal information and we don't share it with advertisers.

We are based in the United States and our main servers are there. Game servers may run in other countries, to be close to the players in a match.

How long we keep it

  • Your account and what belongs to it: until you delete the account.
  • Chat messages: 7 days.
  • Sign-in sessions, with their IP address: until 7 days after they end.
  • The daily count of games opened: 400 days. The totals we make from it name nobody and are kept.
  • Backups: about a month. Deleted information can remain in a backup for that long.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the account settings of a game that has them, or by writing to us at [email protected] with your username. No reason is needed.

  • At once, you are signed out everywhere and other players see "deleted_user" where your name was. Within a day, your reviews and comments on this website are hidden.
  • For 30 days you can change your mind: signing in to a game again and choosing to restore the account brings it back.
  • After 30 days we erase your username, email address, password, guest device IDs, linked store accounts, friends, blocks, chat messages, the daily counts and the list of what you owned in our games. Your reviews and comments on this website are removed.

Some things remain, no longer attached to your name or email address: the results of matches you played, so that other players' histories stay complete; the record of store purchases, for accounting and refunds; and reports and bans, so that a banned player can't simply start again. A ban keeps the IP address or device ID it was placed on.

Your rights

You can see and change your username and email address in a game's account settings. You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about your account, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, the law may give you further rights, such as objecting to or restricting how we use your information, and complaining to your data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To use them, write to us at [email protected]. We may ask you to show that the account is yours, for example by writing from the account's email address.

Children

Flunki is for all ages, children included, and it collects nothing from anyone: see Flunki above.

Our online games and the accounts on this website are not meant for children under 13, or under the age at which your country lets a child agree to this alone (up to 16 in parts of Europe). We don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has made an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Connections to this website and to our account service are encrypted. Passwords are stored in a scrambled form, never as written. Access to our servers is limited to the people who run them. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong; if something does and it affects you, we will tell you.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we will post the new version on this page with a new date. If a change matters for how we use your information, we will also announce it in the news.
